EcoReco Official Warranty Policy

1. Overview

EcoReco is committed to providing high-quality scooters along with reliable after-sales support.
Our warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use. Repair or replacement is provided free of charge for components that fall within the coverage period.

The warranty automatically applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Coverage begins on the delivery date.


2. Warranty Duration

Standard Models

Most EcoReco models include a 6–18 month warranty, depending on the component category.

Special-Priced Models (e.g., Togo)

Some models are sold at a special discounted price, and therefore include a limited 6-month warranty for all components (except wear items).

3. Component-Specific Coverage

Below is the warranty coverage by category:


A. Core Electrical Components

(Standard models: 12–18 months / Special-priced models: 6 months)

C. Electrical Auxiliary Components

(Standard models: 12 months / Special-priced models: 6 months)

  • Lighting system

  • Horn / Switches

  • Turn signals

  • Control buttons


D. Wear & Tear Items (Not Covered)

These components naturally wear out through use and are not covered under any warranty:

  • Tires / Inner tubes

  • Brake pads

  • Brake rotors

  • Fenders

  • Kickstand

  • Valve stems

  • Grips

  • Deck grip tape


E. Cosmetic Items (Not Covered)

  • Scratches

  • Paint fading

  • Minor dents

  • Non-structural cosmetic damage


4. Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover issues caused by:

  • Overloading beyond rated capacity

  • Crash or collision damage

  • Water damage from heavy rain, puddles, or submersion

  • Exposure to extreme temperatures or corrosive environments

  • Unauthorized modifications (battery, motor, controller, wiring, etc.)

  • Using non-approved chargers or power sources

  • Failure to perform basic maintenance

  • Commercial, rental, or competitive use

  • Improper or non-professional DIY repairs


5. 30-Day Shipping Coverage

For the first 30 days after delivery, EcoReco covers all shipping costs if your scooter has a manufacturing defect in these components:

  • Controller

  • Motor

  • Battery

A valid RMA number is required before sending the product.
Shipments without an RMA may not be accepted.


6. Warranty Claim Process

To file a claim:

  1. Provide proof of purchase

  2. Submit photos/videos of the issue

  3. Our team will assess the problem

  4. If approved, we will guide you through repair or replacement

Shipping damage must be reported within 3 days of receipt.


7. Post-Warranty Support

Even after your warranty expires, EcoReco offers:

  • Free diagnostic services

  • 25% discount on replacement parts

  • Lifetime support commitment


8. Legal Disclaimer

This warranty is the only warranty offered by EcoReco and replaces all other express or implied warranties. EcoReco is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, loss of use, or economic losses.
